Tasting Note
The 2022 Elena Catalano Aglianico offers a deep garnet hue and an enticing bouquet of plum, strawberry, violet and oak spice. Its body is mouth-watering with juicy flavours of plum, cranberry and spearmint framed in approachable but well-structured tannin. This elegant, well-balanced wine is ready to enjoy but will continue to evolve in cellar through to 2031. An excellent match for beef cordon bleu or braised lamb shank with mint gremolata.
