Tasting Notes

The Sguardi di Terra Valtènesi Groppello is a flavour-packed wine an expressive bouquet of cherry, spiced plum and violet. Similar in style to many examples of Pinot Noir, its fruit character is offset by an earthy note of fallen leaves. Bright red fruit flavours, reminiscent of wild raspberry and currants, carry through to the palate , while light tannins and fresh acidity provide structure and balance. An ideal wine to serve chilled on warm summer days. Match with for cioppino, steak tartare or charcuterie. Serve now through 2025. – Louise Wilson Cormier – Master of Wine June 2024.
