Tasting Note
From the San Giacomo vineyard in the Italian region of Calabria, the 2023 Dell’Aera Kometes is a delightful expression of Malvasia – a perfect choice as the weather begins to warm. Its bouquet welcomes with aromas of peach, honey and melon which carry through to the palate. Here they are joined by tropical fruit flavours of mango and pineapple, while a hint of minerality weaves throughout the long finish. With plenty of varietal character, match this wine with flavourful dishes such as hot honey chicken or blackened fish tacos and pineapple salsa. Ready to enjoy now through 2026.
