The 2020 Cabo da Roca Syrah is a satisfying wine with a rich inky hue and an aromatic bouquet of black fruit, licorice and violet. The palate is smooth with well-integrated tannins and layers of blackberry, plum and mint flavours. This full-bodied wine is stylistically similar to Barossa Shiraz or Mendoza Malbec, and is a delicious introduction to European wines. Pair this flavourful wine with venison burgers or mushroom and truffle risotto. Serve through 2028.
